Young Atlanta Leaders Program

Welcome to the Young Atlanta Leaders (YAL) program, where young people aged 18-30 come together from various industries to lead the next generation in making a social impact and promoting community collaboration in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Our Mission

At YAL, our mission is to work hand in hand with state, county, and city officials to promote equitable opportunities and address social inequalities within Atlanta. Additionally, we strive to serve as a pipeline for fresh young talent to actively engage in their communities.

Vision:

We envision a future where the Atlanta metropolitan area is a thriving and equitable community. Regardless of their background or circumstances, we believe that all individuals should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Areas of Focus

Promoting Community Collaboration

YAL actively seeks opportunities to identify synergies and collaborate with existing organizations and leaders in Atlanta. We conduct comprehensive research on local organizations, initiatives, and community leaders to identify common goals and areas of alignment.

Development and Training
Our leadership development programs are specifically designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of YAL members. These programs may include workshops, seminars, mentoring, and coaching sessions. Topics covered range from effective communication and project management to community engagement and social impact strategies.
Completing Tangible Community Projects
To address Atlanta’s social impact challenges, YAL actively seeks partnerships with the private sector. By engaging with businesses, startups, and corporate social responsibility initiatives, we leverage their resources, expertise, and networks to drive energy and innovation.
